Those are solid cans for a budget price, drivers, housing's and position of said drivers in housing make them a must have IMO for gaming. And as Yoda said, I've spent a whole lot more money on can that I was very underwhelmed with. I'm sure you'll be more than happy with your new cans, there sweet.

Do you have some fuzzy?

If I try to go back to any other headphone for gaming they all sound dull and lifeless with bloated or no bass and veiled highs, these just sound real.

Have you web searched for the answer?

I put everything togehter late last night and tried to do a quick search. Everything I saw was using it with a normal usb pkug in gaming headset. I got sound no problem (which was eargasmic) but couldn't hear chat. My friend could hear me fine. He said I sounded clearer than ever. I'll do more research today when I have time. I think it's the whole mic/chat adapter thing.

After looking around just now it seems it's a common issue. The problem is the lack of inputs and outputs. Looks like the DSS 2 may solve it or maybe a splitter would solve it?

For whatever reason, one side of the TB is that way where it plugged into the controller adapter. I noticed it's the same on both though. One has the 3 on one end and the 4 on the other so Ita probably not that issue or is hear no chat at all.

Yes I do and I do really like them, I was impressed when I got them and they just seem to get better the more I wore them. The only problem I have with them is I can't find them and haven't been able to for about 2 months.

I don't remember where I put them, maybe one of my nephews,I"ve got 3 from my sister in law (7 total) and they are all gamers, so maybe they borrowed them and I didn't know about it but with this thread, I'm gonna have to give them a call a find out. And if they took them without asking there getting beat.

Yeah they take a little time to break in to get the treble to tame, then a bit of brain burn in to get used to the image but boy what a headphone and for basically nothing in the head-fi world of headphones and the crazy prices.

Hope you find them/get them back soon.

Yeah you and I have both spent a lot more money on cans that were less than impressive. For the price I just haven't even seen anything in the ballpark with theses cans, so my first thought is why isn't somebody else doing this same thing. It shows that a quality headset can be made at an affordable price and IMO this is a very solid set of cans.

And yes Yoda, I hope I find them too. The more I see this thread the more I want to use them again and hopefully I don't have to beat one of my nephews in the process... ;)

The Chinese know how to keep the costs down I own an Audio-gd R2R 11 headphone amp built by hand and by all accounts it is beating out £1000 amps and it cost me £270 delivered, and yes it is amazing. Yes I have heard big sound stages as all my headphone's are known for them but his thing has depth as well so it is very layered. I know I do not need another amp this is it now :)

It is the same with Takstar low price high quality and that case you get with it wow, that would cost three times the price of the headphones just for the box alone if it was for say Sennheiser.

Happy days :)
