hey guys im sorry to say but im a lil disappointed in the R1 idk what it is but i recently upgraded my Speeds to 1gigabit and the R1 DRASTICALLY LOWERS the speed so BADD... i TESTED it every way i could and EVERY TIME FRAME possible i tried it with and without the R1 on testing i have the also have the NEWEST modem that Xfinty has to offer which is the XB6-T model from Technicolor anyways my point is my actual speeds that im REALLY get without the R1 is 976 Down and 45 up....But once i plugg in the R1 and put my speeds on it so it does everything automatically it seems like it caps everything like on 200mbps when the cap is on 800 that i put it on with SUPER Turbo on because i know the R1 is limit to like 800/900 mbps i believe right? anyways so right now i just disconnected the R1 from the modem and ive been running perfect without it? any suggestions what could be the BIGGEST PROBLEM here?

This says 500-800 approximately, so yeah you're right about that. You should be able to get at least 400-500

Do you have the reactive algorithm enabled and IPv6 disabled?

Are you making sure you are using the correct and capable ethernet cables wired to your device when doing the speed test?

yes i do have it on Reactive with ipv6 Disabled and super turbo mode on and im also using CAT5e cables for ethernet?

like i said i tried everything and it only gives me no more than 200mbps? what am i possibly doing wrong or what is the problem that is NOT maxing me out on speeds? and so u know i also tried this at various times even @ 2am pacific time when no one is using internet still gives me the same problem?

i would at Least be happy on seeing 400 or better mbps but i never get over 200mbps???

PLEASE HELP ME? iM REALLY TRYING TO KEEP the R1 i dont wanna end up selling it or Unless you guys can Upgrade me for the NEW NETGEAR DUMAOS would be AWSOME! lol Jk but seriously tho please help me

The problem based on what you've said could be how you are conducting the test. If you keep all your settings the same with Super Turbo Mode active, and you wire your Netduma directly to a PC, what speeds do you get on Speedtest.net? How did you conduct your tests?

VERY IMPORTANT: You must have activated the turbo mode and the super turbo mode, the 2, in case you have the turbo mode off and only the super turbo mode activated, it will not give you the speeds.

Ah that's great to hear! The maximum speed I've seen through the R1 in a home environment was probably 600mbps, though I don't think most people could get that on a normal setup. 400mbps seems more like it; that should be more than enough for any use :D I'm glad you're getting speeds you're happy with! Let us know if there's anything else you need.

No problem. It'll be Luke who posts any news regarding the DumaOS update on the forum - neither me or Fraser are able to provide news here. Please let us know if you have anything else to ask or just need a hand :D
