R1 question

My modem is password protected by my isp which means once I plug in my r1 it automatically enters the details but I know my details would I be better entering the details in the WAN section or let my modem automatically do it

My isp is bluebox in Ireland

The R1 does not automatically enter your details, the modem is doing the authentication.

 

If your internet uses PPPoE then you can disable it in the modem and use it in the R1 if you manually type them but I would use it as is.
