Just bought xr500

First post on here hehe!

I have just purchased the xr500, previously had the R1.

 

I just have a few questions about the setup and dumaOS,

Firstly if I put The xr500 in DMZ via ISP modem is this safe?

Also I access the DumaOS via my iphone7 and find it to be quite laggy and not as detailed as when I access it on my laptop, i don’t know if you could shed any light on this? Would it be better on an iPad?

Also on the geo-filter when you set home location for the area you want to find hosts/dedi’s In, do you need to restart the console for this to take effect?

And lastly weren’t you guys working on a app for iOS?

Apart from that the xr500 is a great bit of equipment and I am having so much fun with it, despite what some people say it works wonders for cod WW2.

Welcome to the forum.

 

Putting the XR500 in DMZ of ISP modem is perfectly safe.

Accessing the interface on a PC/laptop is the best way, an iPad may work better than a phone

If you move your home location fully shutdown and restart your console.

An IOS App is being worked on as far as I’m aware, no ETA
