It bans a different one. I know that doesn't make any sense. But I'm serious. Someone suggested flushing cloud or something. I don't know how to do that. Thanks! A server ban only lasts a few minutes (5 or 10) The far right red icon near the zoom function is to flush server bans To get more servers widen your Geo filter or use ping assist To ensure you have latest cloud go to miscellaneous page untick cloud, apply, then tick and apply again pollutionblues 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pollutionblues Posted March 26, 2018 Share Posted March 26, 2018 It may look like you are connecting to the same server as there can be many servers in one location but if you compare the server IDs they should be different. Go to miscellaneous > Cloud Settings make sure auto cloud and bleeding edge are ticked and click ‘Apply Cloud Settings’ this will flush the cloud. I don't know how to do that. Thanks! The advice above is great - make sure the server ID's aren't the same since it's likely a server bank you're connecting to rather than just a single server. You can block server banks by excluding them from your radius with Strict Mode enabled and Ping Assist at 0ms. Just curious why I'm missing 2 servers atl and chicago. Also, I look at the server ID before I ban it. It literally doesn't ban it cause the lock is right above it. Then literally the next game I play it's back literally 1 min later. So I have moved my geo to oklahoma I live in MN to avoid chicago server and so I could play on missouiri server. My ping was 40ms which actually seems to be the magic ping cause it played phenomonal. Now for whatever reason I'm pinging 23-27ms to that server and it plays like crap. So I tried ping assist to pull a different server and was still getting it. Any reason why this happening. I'll try to to flush cloud to see if that helps with anything. This just all seems weird to me. I've never had any issues with duma until this damn cod. I have to move around all the time to find a decent smooth playing game. Its very frustrating. WWII can be a bit strange and servers seem to appear and disappear from time to time, I don't think this is a problem with the Duma. The game seems desperate to connect you to that server so keeping it outside your radius is still the best thing to do. Not sure what’s going on with your temp ban, if it’s kicking you mid game then it appears like temp ban is doing it’s job, I can’t quite figure out why you are connecting back to the same server straight away, the server should be banned for 5 minutes after temp banning. Are you using port forwarding by any chance? Yes, I use temp ban in a middle of a bad lobby on purpose to get out of the game. That is working fine. It's when I use temp ban literally the next game it will be the same EXACT server. I do not use port forwarding just upnp. Wherever I put my geo its expanded out so there are at least 2 dedi's so I can afford to temp ban one of them. Just can't figure out why it does that. It almost like its bugged. In British touring car racing if you win a race they make you carry a load of extra weight for the next race to slow you down. Maybe WW2 gives winners a 200ms penalty. The issue is I didn't win first. In all my time playing never had a huge KD unless it's negative. Minus 4 KD no problem. Supply crates should be commiseration prizes Sledgehammer saying "sorry we feked your connection" here's a DLC gun. Winners won they don't need anything else. Domination XL on shipment 23 kills 54 deaths 30something assists. Other than ttwo death streaks from being spawn trapped in the container I was getting my shots off first, dying first. Might as well be running around with a limp stick of celery , tank top, and a "meet me at McDonald's" haircut. Pointless. Never had to back out of so many games. If you wanted to you could try Port Forwarding rather than UPnP just to see if that'll work, though it looks like the most permanent solution in this case is to keep them outside your radius. The only other documented cases of Temp Ban not working as intended have either been due to user error (the Geo-Filter not being enabled, servers in a cluster with different ID's etc) or have been down to Port Forwarding / UPnP in really obscure cases.
