lopezjm
Hello, I know it sounds silly but I can't seem to find where it allows me to change the "router time". I can't find it anywhere on the Netgear PDF user manual too... I hope someone can point me to it? I need to join my timezone specifically to +8GMT. Thanks in advance. -JJ Dilly Dilly
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 19, 2018 Administrators Share Posted March 19, 2018 Hi lopez, welcome to the forum! The time doesn't serve any purpose and will not affect your routers performance in any way. I believe if you reboot from the Settings it will then be in your time zone, it may be though that it is set to UTC. There's no specific way to change it that I am aware of. lopezjm
Thanks Fraser! Will try the reboot. But the reason why I want to set the time properly isn't for performance reasons but is so that the timestamps on the system log entries will be in sync with the time of my PC. The logs are for developers really rather than for the user but I understand! Let me know if the reboot works!
