Packet loss, on Xbox test

Recommended Posts

Hello, just wondering when I do a detailed stastic(whatever it's called) test on the Xbox I'm getting 100%packet loss, ping speed and upload ok...when the duma is connected.

If I run straight from the BT hub no packet loss?

Just asking what this could be, odd thing is ping plotter shows nothing and it's a bit strange.( Also shows ok on the Duma interent test).

Thanks.

In this case I'd always trust PingPlotter over other tests - it's the most accurate test for packet loss out there. It sounds like some bug or false reading is happening. How are you conducting that test on your Xbox?

Generally tests of this nature run through consoles are inaccurate anyway - especially if you're running them on the console browser since they lack the software (Flash, Javascript etc) that PC / Laptop browsers have. Please let us know what you did to run your test :)

Hello, well I then, looked through the Duma forum posts, and found a similar issue, which was to disable the Geo filter, which I did, then re run test no packet loss? I'm still lost as to why.

Thanks for reply .

The test was outside your geo.

Yeah it doesn't mean you're actually getting packet loss on your Xbox, it just means the test was being blocked. Incidentally if you could provide the ID for that server then we can add it to the whitelist!
