New Netduma R1 not working

Hi,

 

I received my Netduma R1 yesterday here in Hong Kong.  I attempted to set it up this morning and could not get it working.  Is there someone to speak with?

Can you be a bit more specific about your issue? When you say you can’t get it working do you mean exactly? it won’t power on? You can’t access the internet? or some features aren’t working?

 

How do you have your Netduma connected? Is it wall > modem > Netduma or wall > router > Netduma

As Pollutionblues asked above, could you please let us know more about the issues you are having? We can help you to get fully up and running but we need to know more about what exactly the issue is :)

Thanks guys. Once the Netduma was connected I didn’t have WiFi so was having to register this forum, research and post with a one bar connection on my phone. Will try again tomorrow.

 

So with the Netduma connected to a Modem with an Ethernet cable, you can't access the Internet through the Netduma? Is it possible to enter a browser and type '192.168.88.1' to access the user interface?

 

It's possible your Netduma is defective - it's very rare for this to occur with a brand new Netduma, but hardware faults do happen. Please let us know tomorrow and if it comes to it, we will replace your Netduma R1 :)
