Cod ww2 help geo filter UK

Recommended Posts

What are people’s best settings for cod ww2 uk on Xbox 1, after a few recent updates it’s just gone down hill and now struggling to find any consistence settings/games? Any help would be appreciated thanks J

On the geo filter I run a range 550 miles and ping assist down to 15ms. This allows me to cover the server in France as I'm in the UK.

However I've notices that the best game you play all night is the first match. Then the bloody match making algorithms kicks in and its carp after that.

The settings above seem good for the UK - some people have pointed out that connecting to the HQ before matchmaking can often mean you're connected to Dedicated Servers for the rest of the day rather than P2P. It seems there's still a lot of weird niches with WWII so let us know how your experience goes with the latest CoD update :)

Thanks Jack I didn't know to connect to the hq first but I'll try that also.

Cheers

No problem - it might not work since I just heard it around the forum, and it could be influenced by localisation as well.

Strict on or off??

Preferably on for CoD since they have plenty of dedicated servers. You don't want to be put on one far away, and there should be enough of them to not impact search times.

Have covered uk with strict off and throttled my bandwith to 512 up 1024 down, wow what a difference let’s see how long this lasts

Sounds cool, keep us posted :D
