Hi there,

I have trouble finding Games when using Geo-Filtering on PS4 (WW2).

Settings I have set up=>

1111.00 KM

60.00 MS

Strict mode OFF

When testing through internet diagnostics through the router interface, Max ping is 56MS

Nat type is OPEN and static ip is also setup.

When I turn off  Geo-Filtering, I find lobbies fast and sometimes they are not that bad. Sometimes even dedicated servers are found.

I heard that launch game and when you are in headquarters turn geo filtering on and then find a game.........I have also heard and used this method myself that if I use ping assist I add 10ms to my base ping so if my base ping is 15 i set ping assist to 25.

By the sounds of it you must live far away from any server banks?  If your base ping is 56ms you wont find any games with ping assist set to 60ms. Keep increasing ping assist  until you start to find games.

When you turn the geo-filter off how far away are the hosts/servers you play on and what are the pings you get to them?

Note to the admins I believe that this host is badly marked since it is 8251km away and ping is at 45ms

You're correct, that doesn't sound like it's in the right location. We'll update that when the new cloud update is being worked on. Thanks!

Are you still having trouble on WWII?

I am finding trouble connecting to some servers, for example without geofilter I can connect to english dedicated but with geofilter I only connect to germany and italy when I manage to connect.

That could well be caused by the UK server being mislocated. If you set your home in the ocean with the radius as low as possible with Ping Assist at 60ms (i.e just relying on Ping Assist), do you connect to any other servers that appear mislocated?

If you can see the UK server on the map, but only connect to it when the Geo-Filter is disabled, that would rule it out. You could try setting your radius to only cover the UK with Ping Assist at 0ms and Strict Mode On to force it.
