disconnected from activision server

Recommended Posts

after just about every game i play when in a party on cod ww2 i get this message and have to quit out of the game and restart. I am on xbox one. i have open nat on console and in game. is there a solution to this? ive tweeted for weeks with atvi back and forth and nothing they have given me is helping. ive tried just about everything i can to fix this problem but its only when i have my netduma active. if i use my other router i dont have this issue but i lag like crazy.

What did they say?

Last I heard they admitted there was a problem that needed patching for Xbox. I haven't played it for a while so I don't know if they've 'fixed' it or broken it further.

they kept telling me to make sure the ports were open and all the basic generic support they give people. they said they understand that its been a bumpy launch and that the studio is constantly working on optimization.. they never admitted to it being a problem on their end, and im to the point where i think its something to do with the netduma because like i said, it only happens when im using the netduma

If you are in a party with the Geo-Filter enabled it's likely that the party leader is finding a server that is outside of your range. Either:

1. Be the party leader to force a local server (note: you may need to add your friends to 'Allow' if they live outside of your range)

2. Disable the Geo-Filter when playing in a party where you are not the leader

i get kicked even when i am hosting. also ive been getting kicked playing solo

The next time this happens, please check your Geo-Filter map for a triangle being blocked. Please click on this and post the ID of the server here. It's possible there is a matchmaking server we have not whitelisted (but unlikely).

I don’t see yellow triangles post match but I do see them pre match every once in a while. Just curious on the attached picture, that was saying that I was playing on a UK server correct? I just want to make sure before I tweet that at activision and Complain

With strict mode on and ping assist set to zero you should not be connecting to a server outside of your geofilter radius. If it happens again I would definitely report the id to Jack or Fraser here- http://forum.netduma.com/topic/18965-cloud-incorrect-locations/

I’m trying things to not get kicked out of games so I opened up the ping assist way more than I usually have it. But was that first picture me playing on a dedicated uk server or was it just a player from the uk in my lobby perhaps?

What was the ping to the UK server? It’s possible that it’s just incorrectly located on the geofilter map.

Since that server looks like the largest circle on the map, it's likely that it was the game host. With Ping Assist at 0ms and Strict Mode On, you won't connect to that server. Please provide us with the ID, Ping and Distance of that server (all found in the Ping Graph) as it could be mislocated.

I think you guys need to go back to the drawing board. I’m having the same issue, and it’s disconcerning that you all are clueless as to why. Evidently Asus has it figured out, and Linksys. I don’t get kicked on their routers

Does the Asus have a geo-filter?

Isn’t this one of the main features of the Netduma? And we can’t even use it?

There is no point to use it when the game puts you on the lowest ping server 9/10 times anyway. All you're doing is breaking match making and making it more difficult to find full lobbies.

Besides that, I've been using the Netduma since it released and I can guarantee you that if something isn't working it's user error almost every time.
