Which would be better? If any....

Which would be better....

1)Bigger distance between Master socket and modem ,or,

2)Smaller distance between master socket and modem but with a bigger distance between the modem and DUMA

 

Im on BT infinity 2 btw. :)

You will want "2" Shorter from the master socket to the Modem. I'd advise going with a cat 5e twisted pair adsl cable. 30cm if you can. :)

Yup, definitely 2. I use a 0.5m twisted pair cable between the master socket and the modem.

Don't forget to rub the outer skin of the cat 5e cable with icy hot liniment before plugging it in.
