WWII w/ geofilter working good for Texas

I just wanted to say the filter is working in Texas dedi just fine.  16-20ms Strict ON, filter radius 530 mi around sever.  There are a some IDs that are incorrectly assigned showing the server location as UK or Europe.  I will post them when I catch them.

Thanks for the info, keep us posted about incorrect locations and how the game plays in general. There'll no doubt be more cloud updates from us in the future!

Is there a new thread to post IDs by game?

ID:242d743fcac31b20  this ping 16-20ms for me and shows as UK or Europe.  I haven't noticed it so it may have already been updated.

I haven't noticed much difference but I am also on a very low latency dedicated server with great routing from my area to the server location.  I hope you find a fix.

what do you have your settings set at I will give them a shot?

I place my pin right where I live in Montana. Southwest corner. I have my geo filter at 800 miles. I catch the Seattle server. I go back and forth between strict mode. And my ping assist I have played with all over. But I usually am getting a ping of 68-75 during game play and it will spike to 120.

Sorry I know this isn't a dedicated thread but I just thought I'd chime in with a mislocated server ID before I forget! I normally get around 12ms to Amsterdam from the UK but I'm getting 91ms to a server showing up in the same spot now. ID is 322d622dcad11b20.

The New Jersey server is missing too and instead there's one that gives me 100ms+ to it. Normally it's 74ms.

Also, curiously, when I sign into the game I see servers replaced by "hosts" with the update button. Latency to each is typically identical but eventually a real server overlay will show up slightly wonky next to those "hosts" and the temp ban button will appear over those. I just reflushed the cloud so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

have you always got this kind of latency to that server?  if you have a bad ISP it will not be able to fix that.  also if you have low bandwidth at your home and are sharing it with others in the household it will cause terrible latency spikes locally.  turn off the filter for a bit and see if it (wwII) moves you around to other servers, verify they are dedis and ping them while in game for a bit.  You could have had a routing change from the ISP and maybe Chicago servers would be lower latency for you.  You never know unless you know.

Well I must change my earlier statement.  I don't know wtf is going on in WWII.  I am so pissed right now.  So I've been playing along thinking man I'm liking the feel of this.  Then last night I get on and nothing but rubber bullets.  I'm getting shot by guys that aren't looking at me, guys with their gun pointed at the ground. I'm seeing guys that are enemies that were on  my team now on the other team and they cannot be killed.  I even saw an entire match were the enemy wasn't even holding guns.  They were shooting airguns (air guitar) the first time I thought oh just a little glitch but by the end of the match I'm thinking how does that even happen without catching it in QA at least once.

It's ridiculous, I went from a 2.76kd to 2.54  in about 10 games it was ridiculous. Keep in mind not one thing has changed in my gaming setup.  I have dedicated internet just for gaming.

Now check this great ending out.

Because of my soldier stats falling rapidly, I start checking leader boards.  So far in soldier stats I've gotten 2980 kills and 1174 deaths w/ 324 SPM at this point.  I play HC TDM and with my friends I play HC DOM.  I check the mode specific leader boards, WTH!!! I have 24 kills listed in TDM and  0.00 SPM!!!  Domination,  Not one damn kill or death 4 caps. In Dom I generally get about 5-8 caps and 35ish kills per match.  We spent the entire night 11/4 in a 5- 6 man squad absolutely demolishing HC Dom matches.

I think between WW2 and IW I may be completely done with 'Call of Doody.'

I assume they have some jacked up version of SBMM on this week because it was night and day difference. For 4 days I was playing at my normal level and then on the 5th day I can't even go positive or just barely break even.

Everyone is complaining about the servers at the moment. To the point where they have actually taken servers offline: https://twitter.com/ATVIAssistso give them time to resolve the issues people are having and I'm sure it will start to play better.

Yea, I read some about that the next day.  It's kind of funny.  Now that we are listten servers, pvp, I am playing like before their servers started flaking out.  I am getting some pretty great game play, thank God, and of course Iain,  for the Netduma on the pvp no doubt!!!

Thank you for the kind words! We'll be looking out for you guys on your WWII verdict over the next few months so keep letting us know how the online gameplay feels. I'm certain that Activision will be working around the clock (as usual) to sort out their server problems.

What is the best set up for pvp on duma. I still have good abs bad games

Keep radius as close as possible 1000km, strict on, ping assist 0. Basically same settings I would usually advise, as well as congestion control

To elaborate on this, as far as the "miscellaneous" settings go what options should I be using?

Misc settings affect speeds moreso than gaming, though I'd keep everything unchecked apart from cookies, turbo mode (if your speeds are over 120mbps), super turbo mode (if speeds are over 300mbps) and potentially UPnP forwarding if you need it ticked to get an open NAT.
