YOBIGDUSOFLY Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, and I'm hoping to learn new things in network gaming, and improve my Duma experience. I have excellent internet, but I'm not confident that I have my network set correctly to get the most out of my NetDuma. I'm not positive that I have my internal settings correct either. Right now I cannot see any real difference, so I've convinced myself I've done something wrong. I'll try to answer any questions as best as I can. Remember its all about ping, so make sure you can use our ping feature & tell us what you're getting. But start a new thread about for that. I'm running 100mbps. My setup roughly is: ISP line into LAN of the NetGear. From there, using the red CAT cable provided, I ran it from WAN of the NetGear to the PoE of the NetDuma. From there I hardwired my Xbox 360 and my Xbox One into the other ports of the Duma. I have UPnP enabled in both. I went through the Fine Tune guide. I also reserved the IP of the Duma in the NetGear. I've set both consoles to automatic settings. I know it's got to be working, because I started experiencing lobby boot at 100 miles. In my area, it's not turned out to be that hard to find lobbies that close to me, but I want to make positively sure I'm doing it right. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
