DumaOS Before WW2

Recommended Posts

I would just give up hope on seeing the Duma OS anytime soon.  Maybe in another year, but hopefully by that time another company will have released a better firmware so that way the Duma team will have some competition.

It has only been 14 months since they first announced DumaOS. That is hardly a year. In that year I'm sure there have been lots of betas.

Do I have to continue showing how wrong you are?

Lol at this guy, "It has only been 14 months since they first announced DumaOS. That is hardly a year"  No mod, that IS OVER a YEAR, LOL.  Who is wrong now??? Just saying.....

Yes, 12 months is a year... 14 months is hardly a year.

Can you write a router firmware from nothing in a 14 months? Seems like you struggle forming a sentence, never mind a piece of code.

Your way of thinking is backwards but anyways, not sure I have never tried but this topic is not about who and who can not write a firmware, it's about the timeline.  However if I tell someone something will be ready on this date or time, you better believe it WILL be ready.

Can you write a router firmware?

Like I mentioned before, this is about the time line stated by the Duma team and not about if someone is educated on writing code or not.  You are deflecting the real issue here.  This like going to restaurant, and waiting for two hours for your food but since you have appetizers, bread or salad etc you have no right to complain since you are being fed.  You have no idea who purchased this router on thinking that the Duma OS would be released when it was suppose to. So quit telling people to shut up and being disrespectful.

But you're not a chef so if my recipe takes 2 hours to make then you'll wait 2 hours to eat. You're not going to starve to death and die, because we have plenty other food and appetizers to hold you over. (The current firmware that works fine)

If it was my restaurant and you started complaining like an entitled 5 year old I'd throw you out.

You have no right to tell someone else how long it should take for them to do something that you can't do yourself. Unfortunately software works this way. You fix one thing and break ten other things. You fix those ten bugs and two more pop up. That's the cycle.

Then you would be out of business, lol.  Sorry buddy, but If you are a paying customer then you have a right to complain. Let me ask you something,  If you were to buy a house to have built for you and the builder gave you an ETA of four months but 18 months later it is still not ready, what are you going to do?  You are in a rental so you have a home, but by your logic you have no right to complain, so now what?  Sit there and let this company walk all over you?  Lets say there is another sales man and is named "ModHome" and this guy is telling you to shut up and quit whining, what are you going to say back to him?  I don't know about you but that guy would get knocked out.

Your restaurant analogy didn't work so I see you tried to make it an extreme example. It's a router, not a house. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you already bought it and you think it doesn't work, return it. If you can't return it, sell it.

Try again.

P.S. If I was building your house and had to listen to you complain the whole time I'd say "Listen you can shut up and let me do my job or (hands you tools) build it yourself."

We don't know if duma os is full of bug or not because we hardly get any new info on it other than they are working on it and its first priority. Also, if you give a time frame for a product to release then many customers expect that release date. whats really gonna suck is duma os releases and we've already got settings for the game we are playing and we have to change and figure out a new setup that may take months to get exactly where we want them to be. I for one have had my netduma since late 2013 or early 2014 cant really remember. I'm not a big streamer or youtuber so I like many others who purchased this product before any of these streamers did so but they get to test out new software or get specials treatments because they will advertise netduma.. So shit on the guys who believed in the product before it got to where it is now. Duma Os will come when it comes but by the time that happens its not really gonna be exciting anymore.

My first analogy was fine but you did not get it, so I simplified it for you. Anyway, if you don't think this Duma OS delay is hurting the company, I got news for you, it is. I know gamers personally who are waiting for the Duma OS to be released before buying. I also know people who said screw it and gave up and bought a different router. Losing sells is not good for business, but go ahead and keep pissing other owners off so they have a bad taste in their mouth about the Duma OS. Representative or not potential buyers see how you treat people on this forum and that may be reason enough for them not to buy the net Duma so in the end you are only hurting the company.

As I previously stated, you can barely form a sentence properly so I know you couldn't write one line of code. That means you have no room to talk.

I've recommended the R1 to numerous friends who have lag issues due to local congestion. It fixes that and many other problems just like they advertise. So if you're telling friends that it doesn't work without DumaOS then who's fault is it for them not buying?

I only treat a handful of people like this. You being one of them for obvious reasons. You have very little to contribute here other than disagreeing just for the sake of disagreeing.

Recommended the router to more people than I can count, 2,500+ posts, I'm active here every day, and I've helped countless numbers of people when official support isn't available. Tell me again how I am detrimental to this forum. I'll wait.

Sorry didn't know this was a term paper and was being graded, my bad. You have so many issues. Lol. FYI, I know several people who think you are closed minded and have a lot to learn. But hey like you always say, "what do I know".

Aww you ignored everything I just said about you providing false information to potential customers. Cute.

Those "several people" are probably the handful of your crew that I treat a certain way. I feel no remorse for idiots.

False information, what are talking about? I replied to you cuz once again you are being a bully on these forums and I hate bullies.

"my crew"? I only know like two people on here but let's just say I have had non regular members PM me and say what a douche bag you are and they have fun stroking your ego. Lol

You said you "know gamers personally who are waiting for the Duma OS to be released before buying." Which means you must've provided them with false information. Which resulted in less "sells" (as you put it) for Netduma.

If someone I know is lagging, I know this router fixes that problem and they've purchased. That's the claim they make on the homepage and that's exactly what it does.

Tell me what DumaOS is going to change about that?

As for people PM'ing you, it would not surprise me if you have multiple accounts and talk to yourself just to prove a point.

So what is the progression or the current state of DumaOs? I have to ask before this will also be close for nothing.

They are still working the bugs out, no new news or update when it will be released. Best bet would be just to follow their Twitter page.
