That's why I won't play nuketown. No settings will stop you getting wrecked from behind on that map.

Aside from the disconnect on the first game, that just looked like normal BO3 to me.

I feel your pain kevo, enemies having instant aim assist hit detection on you and dealing double damage it feels like. What is your ping to the server? Oh and CB if you think thats normal you've got your settings wrong lol, it can play a hell of alot better.

I'm not talking about how 'it plays' which usually means 'how well I did', I'm talking about lag.

Other than that 'connection interrupted' at the beginning, there wasn't much at all. Nothing much looked wrong or seemed weird.

I don't want to be a dick and pick Kevo's gameplay apart but watch it again and think to yourself what you would do in that game...

I know I wouldn't have made a lot of the moves that ended up in a death. I'm not saying they can't work but things like running out from a blind corner and then leaping into the air as you go out into the open area are really risky plays.

There was a lot of rushing and jumping, some dodgy aiming and a lot of getting dead.

If it doesn't work the first few times then it probably won't work for the rest of the match so you have to change it up.

And on top of that there was a party of three AND a party of two on the other team, if they were communicating properly then they can afford to be less skilful players because they have a different advantage.

Nope, 'how it plays' usually in this context means exactly that. I know how it should feel considering I have near enough 30days game time played. Lets put it this way, I have a 3.74 KD with a 500 spm in TDM. my accuracy with an m8 is 34%. I consistently get wrecked and bulshitted on this game. Its damn near impossible to play. I can barely evade a gunfight and the hit reg is terribly delayed. Its like they've purposely made it crap so people play infinite dogshit instead. If it wern't for my movement id probably drop my KD to a 1.5 easily. The aim assist is non existent half the time. Watch youtubers stream and see what their connections are like and how fast they kill.

They're great stats, either you're not getting consistently wrecked like you say or you're doing some high-level dashboarding.

Most of the people that complain about hit detection have stink-aim. People have posted a lot of videos in the forum and occasionally there's an issue but most of the time it was their own play-style that got them killed.

'How it plays' does not look, to me, like the reason for the beating shown above (and that's what this thread is about), maybe for the odd kill but not the majority.

Infinite Warfare 'plays great' for me, consistently for the last few weeks since I tired of BF1 and returned to it. Maybe you just can't adapt.

If stats/clips/screenshots are how you think that's best proven then I can post some up to show you if you like. I've got 30 days on most CoDs too so I'm as much an authority on it as everyone else.

Yes, sometimes you'll get in a lobby that seems out of sync or funky and no matter what you do you'll take a load more deaths than you'd expect.

We all get those lobbies, unlucky spawns, the enemy seems to lag at just the right time, etc. And often the deaths will come from less skilled players but those aren't the majority of lobbies in my experience. Maybe the above vids are those lobbies.

Youtubers' clips are irrelevant, they're 'pro' players for a reason and it's very easy to further manipulate how things appear to be going.

To show how great it is: Pick your best game out of the 200 you played that day (it's often their full time job after all), obviously disregard any that don't show you being extra awesome. Have a noob moment, fast-forward or edit it out because it would be 'boring'. Make a great play, add slow-mo to emphasise it and show it twice.

And to show how bad a game is: Pick the laggiest game out of your 200 from the day or even force a far-away dedi, edit out any good or lucky kills because they contradict your point. Play like a scrub, get owned, add slow-mo to emphasise and show it twice, etc.

Also, 'theatre mode' makes everything look better - same as killcams.

I wasnt even looking at how kevo was playing or if he was making mistakes etc its not about that, Its all about how the enemy bullets affect your character model and its very subtle and hard to pick up on, especially if thats all your use to. I like stealth01 have pretty decent stats and can tell from the first gunfight i get into whether or not the lag comp is against me for said match and all to often for me anyway i find i am at a disadvantage for the majority of my games. Put me and stealth01 on LAN and we would shit on the vast majority of youtubers  :D

The gameplay looks very similar to what I experience if I'm honest so I know the pain it can be believe me but it won't help playing whilst you are that frustrated, when we get a little stressed we play reckless I'm one of the worse peoole for it no doubt, little example on the reactive gameplay at around 2.20 you are one shot after killing the guy at the bus but you run around the corner with 15 shots left in the kuda and run into 2 of them, you stand no chance at all,my internet plays nice one week terrible the next I literally just have to adjust little things things in my gameplay to do ok

You really need to look at how the person is playing and the map situation too. A lot of Kevo's deaths were simply down to getting shot up the backside.

Like I said, I literally refuse to play Nuketown because of it. I really hate that map.

What do you mean 'how the enemy bullets affect your character model'? All you have to go on is the kill-cam and that's never been accurate.

I agree that sometimes when you join a lobby, after a kill or two, you can tell that something is 'off'. It feels wrong like it's out of sync. But there's no Netduma setting that can fix that so you have to either stay in and lump it or leave and find a new lobby. Pretty much everyone says they're at a disadvantage when things aren't going their way though, sometimes it's true but usually it isn't. And when you're battering seven shades out of someone, you can be 99% sure that they're saying the same thing about you (and then they send a message calling you a noob / camper / cheat, from my experience).

Yep, that's what I said too, it doesn't look unusual for BO3 (especially now it's a couple of years old).

I probably even said it to you when we played Dom the other day, pretty sure I said "I hate how it feels like you drop in half as many bullets as it takes to get a kill".

And playing reckless when stressed, being 'on tilt', that's bang on too. That's what I'm talking about with decision making, I do it plenty, I expect we all do.

im not finna camp because of the huge amount of delay i can pre aim somebody when i see them and get killed instantly

There seems to be a weird thing in CoD where the player rushing against the camper has a slight advantage with the delay, I guess it's made worse because the person that is rushing/flying through the window/door knows exactly when it's going to happen but the person that is getting rushed has to wait and react to it happening.

It's the same in Infinite Warfare, sometimes you know they're going to come flying through the window and bang your dead with no chance.

I expect it would be the same in BF1 but because it's a slower game we don't notice.

He meant me, not you Kevo, when he said my settings are wrong. They're not wrong though. I'm sure this is nothing to do with settings.

I just want to add that I'm not picking on your gameplay/skills at all Kevo, you're probably better than me at BO3 anyway.

And that I don't play BO3 hardly ever anymore so maybe it has turned even mushier now. I always felt BO3 was a bit mushy anyway, homing bullets and stuff like that.

I'm sure your settings are fine but if you want to post them up then go for it and we can see if there's anything strange. What have you got before the Netduma? Just a modem, a bridged router?

That's weird, I find IW usually plays like this clip...

I over-aim quite a lot in this clip. Been off the game for a while, replaced tv with monitor, started using kontrol freeks. Felt really weird and snappy. I've got all the excuses  :P

http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Colonic%20BOOIVI/video/38237163

If you watch the ammo number you can see that I'm also spending about 10-15 rounds per kill. But that's because approx 2/3 are missing the target, seems like you need to be more accurate in IW to get hits compared to BO3.

But I've got plenty of clips showing me getting **** on too, like this one...

Ammo counter shows at least 3 shots fired before my screen gets too red to see, near enough point-blank with a shotgun, two dead on target but only hit markers.

When i say settings i predominately mean the congestion control sliders and or the bandwidth allocation for your console, nothing else really.

ive tried all settings tbh. ive done many blufferbloat test with the tp link 7610 and get a+ every time. i think its a bug with the flower prioritization flower not sure on that

Do you lads give your console more or less bandwidth with the flower? Just curious. I leave mine alone because there are so many devices at times, it gets in a mess when I turn 'share excess' off and people get pissy.

If you have any thoughts on how you would like the flower to be, add it in the suggestions thread. I did one already but it was a while ago.

back on the older firmware i use to give my console about 70% with share excess ticked. As of right now i only have my desktop 2 phones and a console connected at the same time. I check the network monitor and im barely using 2% of my of my down and upload speed

Yeh, the console uses almost nothing.

Have you tried turning 'share' off (up + down), while keeping the % balanced between everything. Make sure your console has enough obviously or it'll be horrible.

If you haven't tried it, do it for a couple of gaming sessions, it might not make any difference but maybe you're still suffering from a bit of BB.

I tried it when I had my cousins staying at my house. They were constantly hammering youtube and youtube seems to take bursts at your bandwidth (up to my max available of 25mb), much more than it needs. Turning off 'share' stopped them tapping the max and smoothed everything.

Doing that won't make any difference then as you're probably not being affected by her.

Have you run any tests to check if your line is behaving? You never know when your ISP is going to make some 'improvements'.

My old ISP made 'improvements' to the infrastructure in my area, it became so bad that I lost tv for days at a time and the connection became completely unusable for gaming. After a couple of months of faffing around they had to release me from my contract because it was no longer fit for purpose.
