The pppoe login however is not the same as bt, bt pppoe is generic and the same login applies to all it's users. There are a few plusnet members on here and I am sure that they can shed more light on your login details if that is what you are after, but if you are just asking is it the same setup generally as bt then yes it is! I'm on BT and can get online just by putting my Netduma in the Smart Hub's DMZ. Is the WAN PPPoE login the "proper" way of connecting with BT to another router? The home hub does the PPPoE authentication for you, if you have a modem that does not authenticate then you would need to set up the duma to authenticate instead. How you have it is fine. I read Home Hubs have bridge/modem mode but my Smart Hub does not, so I wasn't sure if maybe I was missing out on a potentially "more optimal" method of connecting.
