any tips or tricks to connecting to it, I live in south Florida and I seem to never get to connect to it, it always puts in in the Georgia one?

I would think you could set your geo-filter only over the location of the dedi, turn ping assist off, and turn strict mode on. It may take a while for a lobby to open up, but eventually I would think you would connect to that server.

 

I would do that to connect to a California Dedi on Black Ops 2 for the PS 3 with great success.

How long would it take to connect? Did you only do it for BO2?

It would connect pretty quickly. That may be due to a smaller player base on BO2 for the PS3. It seemed to be able to host several lobbies on the dedi at once. Less players would equal more openings on the dedi's.
