If you've got CC set at 70/70, and all devices are running through the Netduma, then yes more than likely it's your line / hub. It looks a lot like mine used to look on the Super Hub.

Put the Super Hub in modem mode, connect your laptop to it with an ethernet cable, and test it direct - That will confirm if it's on the line / hub.

If you're not in modem mode already:

Make sure you get the right port, I think modem mode will disable all but one of them. You'll get 100% packet loss if you pick the wrong one (no internet). You'll probably need to reboot the Super hub after putting it into modem mode before it allows your laptop to connect.

hmmmm the last test was with sliders on 100/100 this is on modem mode 70/70 ? still lag spikes , do you mean do a test in router mode on here as in modem mode you can only do through netduma on super hub 3 ? wondering if a diffrent provider would give more quality line ?

Yeah that won't be the R1 if that is happening directly from the Virgin hub.

I would check it over different times of the day and see if it occurs at any specific times or even gets worse at peak times etc.

There is not much you can do other than collect evidence and take it to Virgin and see if they can do anything.

I think there are a few topics around about that. From what I remember BT might be a good one. Modem mode isn't absolutely necessary, you can still have a great experience with the R1 in the DMZ of a router, it's WiFi off and all devices connected to the R1

I left Virgin 150/12 about a year ago because I couldn't play games. I'd lag about teleporting all over the place. And I kept losing TV and internet for days at a time.

I went to TalkTalk and then ditched their home hub for a standalone modem + Netduma.

Wish I hadn't waited so long before I did.
