The Nighthawk ac 1900 is a router only. If you are looking to get rid of your HH your best bet would be to get an unlocked HG612 Openreach modem if you're on a Huawei cabinet or a Draytek Vigour 130 if you're on an ECI cabinet. Personally I wouldn't buy a Nighthawk just to use it as a modem. Most people on FTTC go: modem > Netduma > Nighthawk (in Access Point mode to give better wifi coverage) this was my setup when I had FTTC. I suspect enabling AP mode might disable the modem function of this Nighthawk but I couldn't be sure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
