Hello all,

So pretty much Black ops 3 has been going great for me in general. I live in the USA, 2.6 kd, 2.8 win loss, and the hit detection has overall been great. Ping is not an issue for me, some games it ranged from 17-33, others it says at 32ish. I always green bar, not once have I ever yellow barred. It's just that this past week the hit detection has been a bit iffy, some bullets aren't registering. My geofilter is my home location with about 800 km range so it's pretty small. My ping assist is at 30ms. Im pretty sure my settings are fine because the hit detection has been on point except this week. Was just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same problems with bo3 this past week or if it's just me or my connection. I tried cod ultimate profile too but that just made it worse. suggestions?

Are you using hyper traffic, with ALL devices in your home connected to the router and congestion control enabled?

yes, people I've talked to said black ops 3 has been kind of weird this past week with dedicated servers and pings. like my ping would go to a 50 when I'm in a 800 km range just this week only.

but I have another question. I have at&t uverse 1000 mbps download and 1000 mbps upload. But won't the speeds decrease if people are connecting to the duma rather than the modem. plus the router is in my room rather than the living room. does the duma support 1000mbps download and upload? others can answer too

COD games are getting worse for connection, its funny that they dont have deadicated servers by noow but then I guess if they did half the players that think there good would get dominated over and over.

If you play COD on a LAN event you would see the difference in everything as half the gamers who think they are good get trashed and it shows they only are good due to shit connections

You won't be able to reach those speeds with the Netduma unfortunately. Use these settings and whatever you get will be about the max:

  • Reactive Algorithm
  • 100% anti-flood
  • Share excess enabled
  • Reset device prioritisation & apply
  • Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc
  • Disable deep packet in misc
  • Enable turbo mode
  • Enable super turbo mode
  • Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds.
  • Do a wired speed test from a PC

Might as well turn off the in-game ping graph, because it's not accurate at all. It'll either say 17ms, 33ms or 50ms 90% of the time, regardless of what your true latency to the server is.

Last time I played BO3, I never moved from 8.0-8.7ms, yet the in-game graph showed 16/17 - 33/34ms all game.

Yeah I've played with my friend in New Mexico before. We connected to the Texas server and I got a two bar (200-299ms) despite my true latency being more like 130ms lol
