ColonicBoom Posted June 19, 2017 Share Posted June 19, 2017 When you say it used to be 15ms, do you mean through the Netduma Diagnostic test? Or when you did a speed test on a website like speedtest.net ? The Netduma diagnostic test pings Google servers, if you're not very near to any of them then you will see a higher ping than you might like. It doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem though. DAKOTADOCKALL Posted June 19, 2017 Author Share Posted June 19, 2017 When I talked about it being 15ms thats through the diagnostic test on the netduma if i use speedtest i get a 7 ping. And my isp is literally the only good one in my area anywhere else is only like 10 download and 2 upload. At this isp i get 200/10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ColonicBoom Posted June 20, 2017 Share Posted June 20, 2017 If you're seeing funky results on the Diagnostics then try pinging a few things using the command line / terminal on your computer. It's more than like just that Google server that Diagnostics is trying to ping. I ping Twitter usually, seems to be pretty solid. fuzzy clam Posted June 20, 2017 Share Posted June 20, 2017 As others above said 8.8.8.8 can be dodgy and misleading at times, like Boom said try pinging terminal on your computer.
