I have fiber but it shows that my IP address connection has Mobile/Cellular Internet Speed. Does this affect my connection in any way? PharmDawgg Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 I think it is just limited in its classifications. Alot of Mobile/Cellular networks use a fiber optic structure. If you are currently getting you speeds based on a speedtest to a particular server (hardwired of course) you should not have any issues. maazsk97 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
