Wife wants to punch me in the face...

Recommended Posts

So i've been trying to get this router to work properly, and i'm having trouble with the netduma.  it's suppose to be a router, and yes it is, but for me it's not acting like a good one.  the netduma keeps dropping connection to devices in my house, randomly.  it happens all the time, and not even once in an hour, but more like every 30-40 seconds, so the wife is constantly getting dropped off the internet.  She works from home, and i'm having a hard time justifying why we should keep the netduma.  i already unplugged the router and reconnected it, but it's still doing it.  should i not use the netduma as a router?

You must have something set uo wrong, Please let us know how you have everything set up physically and what the settings are on device manager. This is a very rare problem so hopefully  it will be resolved quickly and lessons can be learned from it.

It does sound like a set up issue to be honest

Connect your Netduma to your modem and then connect everything to it.

For WiFi change security mode to PSK2, you could try channel 10 or use a WiFi analyser to find the least congested channel and change to that. Also the above option it that doesn't work.

If nothing is working and you're still getting drops do a factory reset from miscellaneous settings.
