Port forward and Geo filter help (two consoles)

Hi i need some help, im playing alot of Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare on the Netduma (me and my brother). Both Ps4 are Nat type 2. In cod i am Open and he's moderate. I have tried opening port 3075,3076 to the other ps4 but these ports only seems to work for Xbox One. The other problem is i get matched up with peaple outside the filter when i play IW. It stills join lobbys outside my filter. I have strictmode enabled and ping assist to 33, hyper trafic enabled on both ps4 consoles, and turbo mode enabled in misc. Im want to play cod on the best connectivity but but i still have lag becuz i feel the hit detection is bad and my deaths are behind walls and stuff like that. Can netduma check my router?

Ping assist will connect you to games outside of the geo range if they are under 33ms as you have set,to game within the geo put ping assist to 0 with strict enabled

if you are using 2 consoles you have to port forward 3074 and 3075.

I have tried that, it dosnt seem to work on PS4. Only port that works on cod for me is 3074. Still Getting moderate when using port 3075. Port 3075 only works on Xbox One for me and not my second ps4 console, when i have UpNp enabled i see cod is trying open port 3074 on my other console with an diffrent External Port...

Before I went away I did a 1 on 1 with someone and found that IW does not properly request the correct ports to be opened. Opening MWR first, showed open then going back to IW and showed open as well.

I have noticed that and it only works on 1 of 2 consoles. So the problem is COD or Playstation 4. The problem cannot be solved right now. But I have another problem. Its the geo-filter. I still get matched up with French ppl and Italians that makes my game lag. Any suggestions to make this work? Im very tierd of this. Check out my settings please. Playing on the PS4 atm not Xbox.

Your settings are good its just your radius, move your location a bit more to the right to keep the same distance but exclude that part of Europe.

With the R1 your only have control over whoever is the host of the game. Sorry to say not the other people who may be in your lobby.  Now if for some reason a person outside of your radius or who doesn't meet your ping assist requirements is chosen as host for the next game then they will be blocked and you will be disconnected from that lobby. Hope this make sense.

Unless your playing a game that uses a pure P2P system then only the host of the game either a person or a server is guaranteed to be inside your radius. This still gives you the advantage as you have the lowest ping possible.

The router works great with the settings i just found but the netduma is SO SLOW. i need to restart it like everytime. Please fix this its annoying

It won't be an issue in DumaOS. Make sure you're using Google Chrome and the default theme in miscellaneous settings. If that doesn't resolve it disable hyper traffic, does that fix it?

Everytime i portforward the router goes SLOW. I have only cookies enabled in miscellaneous and hyper trafic is a must in infinite warfare. When is the DumaOS coming?

You can not use port forwarding if you have more than one console. Turn off port forwarding and enable UPnP!  There is an issue with COD and households with two consoles on handling ports.  You can not have open nat on both consistently or at all.

I got 2 questions. My main router does not support QOS and Netduma supports it. I have bridged my main router and only got netduma connected to my main router. Will my gaming experience look like this? And is Netduma QOS always on or do you need to enable it somewhere?

When information gets to the R1 it sits in a queue before it proceeds to its final destination, but the r1 set with hyper traffic for your ps4 will jump the queue.

Just think of it at it like this, your approaching traffic lights and the sign says all vehicles must wait here, unless your car is green. because your car is green you can continue without delay.

 

all your devices should be connected to the r1 and your r1 should connect to your router only, this way the r1 controls everything and all your bridge router does is pass on without modifying the data or queue.

 

There are 2 Algorithms its either 1 or the other not sure if it can be turned off

Thanks for the reply. Shall I also use hyper traffic on the PS4 and Cod ports or only the console? Or Does it even matter? I have used hyper traffic on my PS4 and upd:bothport:3074 (both destinations)

port 3074 is included in PSN service as far as i know, but there are people on here who also do what your doing. being the kind of gamer i am i would not want to allow anyone else to use hyper traffic id keep that for myself only. lol

Ok thanks for your help.  Is it any difference between NAT types like Open and Moderate? The only thing I have noticed is, it takes longer to find matches on moderate but my hit markers feels the great as longest i got Geo-filter and hyper traffic on.

from my understanding NAT = Network Address Translation,

without going deep, just from an end point of view YES,

Player pool would be a result of NAT as well as other things.

In Congestion Control under Device Prioritisation  when i have Share excess unticked on upload and download. Is that qos?

Im confused. Whos host? I am the host of the lobby and i am the red one, and have "Show host" and "Enabled" ticked and my buddy whos green has only Show host ticked.

 

Edit: Is my settings correct? I have strict mode and ping assist 50. And geo filter minimal, I just want to find a good host below 50ms.

If you and your brother are playing in the same game then only one of you needs to use the geo filter (enabled), and then that would be the one who is party leader out of you and your brother. 

 

The Game Host can be either a Server or P2P, which gets determined every time you search for a game, you could also be chose as Host of the game and you will know as everyone in geofilter map will all have big circles. judging by those settings you should have no problem finding a server under 50ms

if you have 20Mbps and you set one device to have 5% and another 90% and untick share excess then you will have 5% left that will not be used by anything.
