Problem in accessing the netduma R1 - Kabel Vodafone Deutschland CH7466CE

Recommended Posts

I am from Germany and having my internet provided by Vodafone Kabel Deutschland with the CH7466CE Modem/Router combination.

I bought a used netduma R1 and resetet it via the reset button on the back side of the netduma. Then I connected the netduma to the CH7466CE via Port 2 and connected all devices to the netduma.

Everything works, I am online right now with this setup, but I can´t acces the netduma menue. I read a lot of topics regarding this but can´t figure out what the problem is.

The pages for "192.168.88.1", https://r1/"and http://r1/" don´t open.

UPnP is activated.

Screenshot from the ipconfig attached.

Any suggestions what I can do.

Hey, welcome to the forum. Your IP Config is showing that your IPv4 address is different to "192.168.88.1". That's why you can't access the Interface.

Connect the Netduma to a PC via Ethernet, and put your Modem / Router into Modem Mode. Can you access the interface now?

Hello Jack,

thanks for the reply.

Right now, the CH7466CE is connected to "the wall" and receiving the internet signal vie the german cable network. Attached to this is the netduma where all end devices are connected to.

To change the CH7466CE in "Modem mode" you need to call the provider, as far as i know you can´t do it on your own and also I want to avoid this step.

I read on your Homepage that it works with every Router and therefore it should work in my constalation too. How can I Setup the cable router (not Modem mode) or the netduma that I can acces the netduma?

Thank you in advance.

Could you try this guide: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022375-i-unticked-preserve-settings-when-upgrading-can-t-access-my-router-help

That will isolate the router to see if you can access the interface.
