Slow GUI

Recommended Posts

The Netduma;s interface has suddenly become very slow,

I have cleared the cache, but still taking a lot longer than usual to load the Host filter page

Also it is not allowing me to add the PS4 and PSN on that page.

The PS4 is available in the Device Manager page and is currently on and wired.

I have rebooted the router and cookies sre enabled in the misc settings, am I missing sometrhing as I have never had this problem before

never had any problems with it before, put the Duma in the DMZ as stated in the Device manager, I use Firefox and haven,t touched any other settings, that;s why I don't understand why it's not showing

I have tried everything I can think of

Re-booting

Factory reset

Flushing the cach with cookies unticked

Flushing with cookies ticked

Puting the Duma in the DMZ as per instructions on the Device Manager page

But as previously stated never had any problems with it before, so I have no idea what has changed, if anything

Well, this is seriously spooky!

Refeshed the page and the device came up, selected device, and the PSN, nothing! nada! zilch!

Refreshed the page and .... Bingo! all there and accounted for. Just trying to make me look like a complete tw**!

* Pages are still slow to load though!

Have you tried this link? http://forum.netduma.com/topic/19266-slow-gui-interface-the-solution-is-here/

It's usually caused by UPnP and port forwarding conflicts. Could also be caused by hyper traffic. (We're definitely getting rid of this bug for DumaOS, it's annoying the hell out of us.)

I did, I left it alone for a bit last night and when it had downloaded the games it did seem to get better.

I don't appear to have any issues with it at present

Ah okay; glad to hear it's sorted itself out, maybe the downloading caused it. Cheers for letting us know :)

well, as Victor Meldrew would say "I don't believe it"

PS4 not showing up again on the Netduma Host Filtering page

it;s on the Device Manager, and selected on Hyper service

So why won't it show up, not had an issue with it before

So it is in device manager and hyper but it doesn't show in the host filtering list? Go to DHCP lease, then go back, can you see it then? Just double check the IP and that its showing as a different device.

I have not had an issue with it before, just recently it seems to come and go. It is showing up on all the places it should be except on the host filter page.

I checked the DHCP and it is shown there as the MAC address .

The last few times I have gamed it has nor shown up at all, I have tried all the advice given on the forums and wili pages.

Rebooted

Factory reset

Changed cables

Used a different laptop

Used my IPad

Hanging upside down drinking tequila through a straw (why that would work is beyond me)

It's basically not allowing me to select a device as there is only the drop down to select a service.

So I am at a complete loss!
