I dont know if the  strick port is ok to have one my xbox. I tried to open up ports by doing some youtube instruction  videos but it remained strick port. Does this relate to the Device manager when it keeps telling me that I am connected to another router(not modem)?  It also says i may  need to enable modem mode or dmz.   Also i have the issue where it says VPN is old ? 

 1. my cable provider is Time Warner Cable and i am using an Arriis model TG1672G router /modem.  I have ethernet  cords going from my isp to netduma in port poe. my other port on net duma have my tv, xboxone  and imac in it. i AS WELL HAVE MY cell phone linked to netduma wireless

  Last night I was using on Destiny and it worked ok intially but then everytime I tried  look for a game I went yellow bar.  I did s speed test this morning or just now on speedtest.net and my ping was 16ms,  234.03 download , upload was 23.70.   i think last night when i was having issues i was checking turbo mode  as well as  superturbo mode in misc section , then clicking all sorts of other things reccommend it . I am totally over my head with all these different solution . 

Can someone please guide me step by step from the start to make sure i am maximizing netduma.

No, you need an Open NAT on your Xbox or you can run into issues finding games and using party/game chat etc.

 

The problems you are having here are linked to the problems in all of your other threads - please stop creating multiple threads.

You will get advice in one thread that differs from the next thread, then you will not know what to change and you will go round in circles.

 

Go back to your other thread and provide the information that I have asked for already please.

i am not reposting, this is a new thread. where exactly do i go. my other post were blocked or something

Have you put your xbox in Hyper traffic? look in congestion control, and at bottom, it should be there, if not, add it, then go to host filtering, and your xbox should be there, make sure it is un ticked, until you get to the multi player game, then tick it. Not sure what radius you should have, or even if it needs to be ticked, as i don't play destiny.

 

Also,  having strict can also mean there is another console, is there one?

ok this is so strange. First i do ping dianostics and ping is good , jitter is ok, spikes is terrible  packet loss none.

 i do another test and ping is  jitter is good spikes exceptianl  packloss none.  Still ports are not open and tried do do nut it lead to another website with complicate port fowarding and stuff

Hello, i am willing to paypal a fee for someone willing to talk me step by step in getting this thing to work properly and efficently. I have done countless hours of reading , watching videos , responding to emails etcc.... i need to speak with somebody as i understand better.  We all learn  differently and i use verbal better then reading. Thanks

We'd recommend using the Destiny profile for that game; the Destiny multiplayer works in a very specific way. As for it saying "The VPN might be old", check your VPN settings are empty on the Netduma; even if you know you haven't touched the VPN menu. To put your Modem into Modem Mode, you need to enter its interface just like you would access the Netduma interface. You can do this by typing its IP address into the address bar.

Let me know what speeds you are meant to get, and I'll give you a list of settings you can change. :)

plenty of dudes on here (with more brains than me) would help you out for free.

i gotcha but i need extensive play by play from start instructions . i dont mind paying for a service but i need to ralk to someone

for some reason my speeds are erratic. I am supposed to get which is 190-230 mbps own and 16-24 upload. But every time i get the net duma on it goes from 50 mbps to 90. MY PING VARIES FROM 15 -30 MS AT TIMES
