Been getting the same myself since yesterday. Game is just so bad at mo.

It was pretty laggy this evening for me too Baz - I had a couple of games that were quite smooth but the majority of lobbies had a load of laggy players.

@Mr Average, have you set up your congestion control and hyperlane?

If you post up the info / images requested in this post then we will be able to see if you have everything set up properly.

I would download Ping Plotter and test your line, there are lots of posts in here about how to use it.

Post up some graphs of your ping over a couple of hours, say 7-9pm (peak time). Ping something big and local (I ping twitter.co.uk and BBC). Right click the graph at the bottom and change it to display hours rather than just the default 10 minutes.

Then we can rule out your line and peak time congestion in your area.

Its a pain in the ass, must be the game, as quite a few are experiencing it, i have 1 good game out of 5 at mo.

I had been lagging pretty bad as well, I think between the new ish DLC and the Boxing Glove bullshit challenge, the game is just shitty right now. Plus everyone is camping out with a specialist weapons to complete the daily, and weekly challenges. I removed all of my DLC packs and the game is back to running pretty good for me. I think I'm done with DLC packs, they divide the Cod community too much. They make plenty of money on the supply drops now, so I think they need to make the DLC free, as not to split up the player base.

hi got the duma to work. But seems like there is still an issue. I have 70 down 19 up. My router is an DSLac68U asus. When I'm connected to duma my speeds drop massively. Do i need to bridge the asus if thats the term so as to go directly to duma. As i said I'm not tech savvy. I see on the duma settings there is an option to manually put settings into wan. on my router its the wan settings where you change from ppoe to bridge. I don't know if I'm on the right track with this thinking. It must be why I'm not getting the best out of the duma, it feels like my asus is getting in the way. I have placed duma in dmz on asus as described. test the speeds on ps4 by placing ethernet straight to asus 60 down 8 up. if test with duma all connected up to router i get 33down 4 up. When i tried to bridge  i lost connection to ps4 totally. I need guidance lol.

  • Administrators

For your speeds:

  • Reactive Algorithm
  • 100% anti-flood
  • Share excess enabled
  • Reset device prioritisation & apply
  • Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc
  • Disable deep packet in misc
  • Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds.
  • Do a wired speed test from a PC
