Have you upgraded to the OBS MP alpha release (I think it is alpha). Maybe it would work on that - I've has success with my Hauppage on that version which has never worked on OBS. It never crashed for me :/ Are you using the latest beta (the one here)? Also if you get the crash log, they have this scanner thing on the website which gives you possible causes.
