Problems with Connection? WTF Moments

What do you mean by have the device prioritisation reset?

 

Click "Reset distribution" under device prioritisation on the congestion control page.

 

I sent my cable supervisor my ping graphs. I don't think he's going to do anything for me.

 

Maybe not but they are more likely to do something when presented with evidence.

So I had gotten ahold of a friend for the cable company. They monitored my internet for the weekend and found problems.

The modem works on 8 frequencies and 7 of the 8 were working correctly. The other was transmitting wrong information.

The congestion on there line peaked at 58%.

He did some tweaking and installed a new modem that works of 12 frequencies.

So I'm at work but can't wait to get home to test it.

Sounds like great service thus far.  Make note of that, it's a rarity around here with reports from interactions with cable companies...LOL
