Hi Fraser,

I'm afraid I have rebooted the router in the last few days. If the router could be upgraded in the next couple of days that would be ideal.

I am on an older version than 1.03.5 and have remote support ticked (found in >settings >miscellaneous) and I want to upgrade.

Edit: Has my router been addressed yet?

Edit: Hi! Can you provide a timeline of when you believe you'll be able to service my router? Don't want to keep bugging you guys. Thanks!

Looking like I need to factory restore again.

My speeds are like 3/4 of what they should be again. Also looks like I lost some settings, and something got renamed some random name (description of a rule)

We could not access your router. Please ensure the R1 WAN IP is in the DMZ of your ISP hub. UPnP & Port forwarding is disabled on your ISP hub and that remote access is ticked on the R1 in settings > miscellaneous.

I'm using a fixed wireless ISP. I contacted them about you guys not being able to access my router remotely and they said it's probably because their firewall blocked you. Is there anything else I can do?

Trying this again. R1 debug version 1.03.3 running on rb-951g-2hnd

-The R1 WAN IP is set in the DMZ of my ISP modem/router

-UPnP & Port forwarding is now disabled in my ISP modem/router

-Remote access is checked in the R1 misc settings

Thanks

We could not access your router. Please port forward 1024 - 60,000 TCP from the ISP hub to the R1 or post in the 1 on 1 section and I can have a look to try and make you accessible.

I moved and have a different service provider and modem so I would like to try this again. All the settings above are set the same except I port forwarded TCP 1024-60000 to the R1 from the isp modem/router. Funny thing is that when I go to say, the Host Filtering page on the R1, it just keeps trying to load and nothing comes up. I tried a factory reset and it does the same thing. Could there possibly be a problem with the router preventing access? If so, I can ship it back to you.

Thanks,

Jack
