kmkaufma
Is there any way to upgrade the firmware from 1.03.04 without going to OS and chancing damage to the router? I'm having some issues with connectivity that I would like fixed. Edited June 19, 2019 by kmkaufma uncertainty
Netduma Alex
Yes, if you follow the instructions below, we can send you the hotfix, and then you'll be able to upgrade to either the most recent Original R1 firmware version, or DumaOS. It's also worth noting that if you decide to try DumaOS and don't like it, you can just downgrade back again. All we need to do is send you over the fix. Access your Netduma R1 interface Go to >Settings >Miscellaneous Tick ‘Allow remote access to Netduma tech support’ Go to Settings >UPnP and enable the feature if it's not already enabled Go to Settings > Port Forwarding and remove any rules Now verify that everything is working by going to https://www.whatismyip.com/port-scanner/ In the port entry field, type in 7777 and click Scan If the result is 'Open' then you have successfully allowed us to access your router to run the fix. Please notify us of this on the forum here: http://forum.netduma.com/topic/26317-upgrading-your-netduma-r1-to-dumaos-from-a-version-lower-than-1036/

I'm having trouble due to my internet server. company I can not acces to the main router. I asked my company to remotely put the Netduma mac address on DZM, but despite them telling me the operation is OK, the test page says that port 7777 is still closed 😢. Moreover, I'm runned out of free trials in that page 😢
Netduma Alex
Right... I'm not sure if there's anything I can do. I'll ask the developers. Maybe it can be fixed remotely through teamviewer or something.
Grafti
I think the problem is solved. After contacting my ISP SAT once again, they have made me some changes, and it seems that port 7777 is now open. Please, proceed Netduma Fraser

You always have the option to downgrade if you don't like it. You can sign up to the DumaOS beta and get your download code here: https://netduma.com/r1-dumaos/ If you experience issues after upgrading to DumaOS, you can post here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/105-dumaos-on-netduma-r1-support-open-beta/ If you decide not to upgrade to DumaOS, you can post about your wifi issue here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/12-original-netduma-r1-firmware-support/
