I’ve been told the following information about the Net Duma: We do support up to ~900mbps speeds with the latest upgrade which you can find here (as well as a detailed log of what is included in the upgrade) You will not be able to get wireless speeds that fast. I can regularly achieve about 50-70mbps on the duma wifi but it really depends on how your home is arranged but I would not expect any high wifi speeds than this, expect ~50 max and you won't be disappointed. I’d like to purchase the NetDuma, but due to the restrictions of the wireless speeds, I’d like to still take advantage of my 300Mb download speeds for WIFI. Do any of you currently use the Net Duma and an additional router/Acess Point/switch type device that allows you to reach higher wireless download and upload speeds? FQs19 Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 I have Comcast Blast 180 down 12 up. Using SB6141 modem > Netduma R1 (wifi off) > Asus AC87U (wifi on) in Access Point mode Works great! I get my paid for speeds at the Netduma and Asus wifi but need to cut those speeds down to 140 down and 10.5 up for bufferbloat. Need to follow instructions to get rated speeds. It's an oldschool Wireless N router: Linksys-E1000 Atleast 7 years old. I have it currently setup, however i'm only achieving 30Mbps download. I have not adjusted any settings on the router itself, this is just factory settings. From the wall --> Modem --> Laptop, i've run tests and am getting 300Mbps download and 30 upload(again this is excluding the router, just using the modem), so i know that the router is the issue here. Alex49H Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 So I disconnected my Netgear r6300 router and just have my modem connected to the R1 and POW!!! Great connection and 4 out of 5 great games in BO3!!! There was a firmware update to fix the high ping spikes that are caused by the Netgear router but will have to look on their support site for it. Yesterday I went onto the Linksys page and went to support then downloads and went through the steps to download the newest (March 2014) firmware update for it. Underneath the router on the label it will have a version number next to the model number, mine is V2.1. I downloaded the update for that version and did the update for it. I noticed a bit more speed but nothing major. I'm Forrest Gump when it comes to this type of tech so I do not know if the E1000 will hinder my performance with the new SB6190. I do the following... ONT-Netduma-Asus 3100 AC router. I never get the full 1 gig speeds though. But averaging 450mbps-575 mbps. down and 225-250 mbps up.
