    NAT issues

Blokkeer gefragmenteede IP-Pakketten is Block fragmented IP packages and can be disabled as well. I believe Firewall and uPnP need to be disabled here. The DMZ address should be what the R1 is getting from the ISP modem. So be sure to look at the R1 and see what IP address it gets on its WAN port. This is the IP address that should be input here in the modems DMZ. Ask your isp if they have a modem only that they can give you to use. You need to not use a modem with a built in router if you want to use the R1 and game well with OPEN NAT.

Is this the only modem supported by your ISP? Any chance of them having a MODEM only unit with out a built in router? I think this is the problem, your ISP modem either is not handling DMZ traffic correctly to allow OPEN NAT thru the R1 and on the consoles, or the ISP modem isn't configured correctly. DMZ should be enough to get you public IP address and port traffic thru the modem/router and to the R1. Since your seeing OPEN NAT at the modem, this leads me to think there is a problem with the modem... Is there an IP Pass-Through option anywhere on this modem/Router? You might factory reset the ISP modem/router and set it up from scratch. Go thru and disable items like uPnP, Firewall, wireless radios on the modem, and again, setup DMZ for the IP address the R1 gets from the modem. http://router-access.com/compal-ch7465lg-lc-reset

Whats the Mfr and model# of this ISP modem? Take the R1 off line and directly connect 1 game console to the ISP modem/router...whats your NAT status say here?

If you PF, then disable uPnP. I would not PF and enable uPnp. Do other game show same NAT condition? Whats the NAT status on the game consoles networking settings, not in the game. When using PF, you enter in the IP address of the game console and the ports you want to use.

Clear all browser caches, exit the browser, then re open the browser and then enter into the UI. Does this happen with all browsers? You may need to factory reset the router and setup from scratch.

If your changing the min and max range for DHCP IP address pool, then yes, change this. I believe default is .1.2 thru .1.254. You can change this to .100 thru .200 and have plenty of room for statics on either side. Then set up the IP address for the game consoles with in the pool. I like to use .198 and .199 for mine. Works well. You'll need to power OFF then back on the consoles after making the change so the new IP addresses show up on the consoles. In fact turn all devices OFF accept for your PC that your using to configure the router. Once changes are made and you reboot the router. Then re-connect the devices. To specify the pool of IP addresses that the router assigns: 1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the router network. 2. Enter http://www.routerlogin.net. A login window opens. 3. Enter the router admin user name and password. Manage the Router’s Network Settings 75 XR500 Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive. The Dashboard displays. 4. Select Settings > Setup > LAN Setup. The LAN Setup page displays. 5. Make sure that the Use Router as DHCP Server check box is selected. 6. Specify the range of IP addresses that the router assigns: a. In the Starting IP Address field, type the lowest number in the range. This IP address must be in the same subnet as the router. b. In the Ending IP Address field, type the number at the end of the range of IP addresses. This IP address must be in the same subnet as the router. 7. Click the Apply button. Your settings are saved. The router delivers the following parameters to any LAN device that requests DHCP: • An IP address from the range that you define • Subnet mask • Gateway IP address (the router’s LAN IP address) • DNS server IP address (the router’s LAN IP address) https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XR500/XR500_UM_EN.pdf

As long as the static IP address is OUT SIDE of the routers default IP address pool. Static IP addresses can't be in the routers pool. This will ensure your console connects to the same ip each time. You can set the routers pool to 192.168.1.100 to .200. This leaves you room on either side of the pool for static IP addresses. Game consoles should be IP address reserved ON the router, with in the pool so the routers QoS and Such can manage the traffic for game consoles. Using Statics can defeat this.

Best Mesh Extender Add-On for the XR500

Yes, seems to be similar speeds and solid. Seems to work well with NG routers vs other non NG routers I found. EX has problems with other Mfr Smart Connect for some reason. Otherwise, works well. Only issue on the XR450 is the 2.4Ghz speed is limited at 100MB DOWN for some reason. Theres a post over on NG forum about it. I don't think the 500 is effected by this.

Best Mesh Extender Add-On for the XR500

It is...I beta tested the 7500 and 7700 last year. My 7700 is set out at about 40 feet in between the router and the remote location. Distance is important. Start at about 30 feet in between and see how it goes. Can't be too close to the router.

Look under Network Settnigs and LAN Setup. There will be a area were you can ADD devices and set the IP address reservation there.
