    R1 DumaOS Briefly Delayed

So i post it again.. My thought entirely. If you are deleting posts that in you opinion have fase information then why has the very first post in this thread by Netduma Luke not been deleted?. IIt should take, at absolute most, a few more weeks. Nothing more as we have everything else working. quote ". If the goal posts have changed, give me one good reason that the netduma vommunity haven't been updated.

    R1 DumaOS Briefly Delayed

Ok..so ive been reading every post on this topic today. Firstly for the people who are responding by calling people that are complaining about another broken deadline.. cry babies, you need to grow up. You have to acknowledge that Netduma over the last few years have done themseves no favours. No one forces them to give deadlines but they do, and inevitably fail. I for one am happy to get the update when it arrives, but to come out with a lame excuse that the lawyers at the last minute decided that the Os has to be backward compatible is to me b*** s****. The only reason the Os would have to be backward compatible is if Netduma are not 100 percent sure the r1 can fully handle the new Os. To post last night at 9.38 that the update would be delayed( do lawyers in the uk work at that time of night?). Yes i am dissapointed like a lot of people, not so much about the delay but about leaving it to the last hour and giving us the people that help build this company such a lame excuse. Thats my penny worth
  8. Do you know if the NG will get the anti jitter feature ?..because I for 1 would prefer the better hardware. I was under the impression that this feature was for the Netduma only.
  9. You don't have to be sarcastic...what I am saying is I feel that s worth the wait. the time spent getting the OS to work perfectly with the NG obviously delayed the development for the R1. I am very happy for Netduma it was a business decision, but still feel sore that the customers that made Netduma have been sidelined for this business agreement. I am prepared to wait till April!! to see if it was worth the wait
  10. We have inferior hardware then?. Don't get me wrong I love my R1 but you can't tell me that the software for the new OS that has been in development for the R1 for so long, worked like a dream when it was installed in the Netgear.
  11. So for the last 18 months they were building it for the Netgear..is that what your saying.
  12. Just 1 question to the powers that be...if the new OS is available on the new Netgear router why can't the existing Duma family who bought before the R1 before the agreement get the new software. I understand that Netgear want to maximise their sales, but I see know reason why we can't download the updated software now .
  13. How come you can buy it in th USA but no sign of any sellers in the UK. Anyone from Netduma care to reply.
  14. Nothing wrong with my equipment...like i said in the post I have had no dropouts from my old router. Wired i have no problems at all.. never disconnects ..same problem on wifi with both Duma's. Quite happy to use my old router for wifi but reading the amount of post re wifi drop outs over the last 18 months it is a problem that hasnt been rectified
  15. I had my Duma exchanged because of wifi drop outs. The 2nd router was fine for a month or so then the same thing wifi dropouts at least once a day..never a problem with hard wired. It is in my opinion a hardware problem inherent to this router. For the last 2 months I have had my old asus router connected just for wifi and guess what..not 1 drop out
