  1. Posted on here a month ago about this and was told it was a known issue and there would be a fix soon. Can anyone advise me when said fix is expected?
  2. Just upgraded to the XR500 from my old R1, never really had to deny peer hosts before, but tonight had the need to. Unfortunately it didn't work, not once but 4 times. I'd been running strikes no worries then got put with a pair of 2 degenerates just dancing and emoting in the spawn. So I figured Duma OS has the ability to deny peers may as well use it one these 2 to avoid landing back in the same strike. They were the only 2 on the geo filter map(no dedi), denied both and went to orbit. Launched in and got the same 2 people. Backed out, again same 2. This time restarted Destiny 2, to my surprise got the same 2 people. This time rebooted the router and restarted Destiny 2, yep you guessed it, the same 2 people. Does this feature actually work how it sounds, run into douchebags or laggy hosts in PvP, deny and avoid them, or not? Is there a setting I need to enable for this to actually do anything? If it doesn't actually prevent matching certain players what purpose does it serve? Cheers.

Peer denial not working Destiny 2

Thanks, good to hear. Just as an aside I was testing adding friends who live oustide my set geo filter to my allow list, I found I could only name 5 listings. Further unique ID's could be added but even if named they would show up as a blank name. Deleting the "named" listings to 4 would then enable a 5th entry to retain its name in the persistent list. Seems like something that may need looking at.
  4. Downloaded the firmware just now, loaded into Destiny 2 on PC. Geo Filter is not showing a single host/peer. Settings are Strict Mode unticked, and Auto Ping Host ticked. I've set the distance allowed from recommended limit to max limit, zoomed in and zoomed out, just not seeing anything. This is in PvE and PvP. Is there a setting I need to enable or is this just not functioning at present? Cheers.

Geo Filter map not showing any peers/hosts

Thanks mate. Thanks Jack, that did the job. Otherwise no complaints, played for about 6 hours. No error codes from Destiny, the DumaOS itself is fantastic. Quite a few menu options have been streamlined, I also like not having to switch profiles to non gaming etc, just turning the anti-bufferbloat off. Impressive!

Geo Filter map not showing any peers/hosts

Gee whiz that seems counter intuitive. You mean change it in the Device Manager and not in the Geo Filter where you add a device?

Geo-Filter page not loading? Solution here!

That did the trick, thanks very much for the prompt reply and solution!

Geo-Filter page not loading? Solution here!

I'm just having an issue tonight which seems odd, I went and loaded my profile for Destiny 2, went to the host filtering page and where my PC is always listed in the 1st of 4 services, there's nothing. If I click "select service" it brings up a box with "select device" but there is no devices to choose from. I am then unable to press "next" or even close the pop up dialog, I have to refresh the page, and there is no service listed. This isn't restricted to a certain profile, even on general gaming or non gaming my PC is unlisted in host filtering, I've reset the router several times, rebooted the PC, turned off the router for 5 mins, nothing seems to work. Like Internet is fine but I obviously can't use the geo filter as there is no service to select. Any advice?

    Destiny 2

No worries, I've got to say things have improved significantly from when I first used this in late D1 and early D2 on console, where I was constantly getting kicked from games etc. I had to stop using it. So far on PC I've only been error coded/kicked 3 times in over 100 hours, and been able to make full use of the geo filter, which on PC is essential due to the smaller playerbase.

    Destiny 2

I was using bleeding edge and auto cloud as I am unable to enter a number for the third option, and haven't been advised why that is or what is optimal.

    Destiny 2

Is this still what should be used? I've switched to PC so just seeing if the duma will be of any benefit. For some reason I can't select 28 or any numbers in the thrid box. Like it let's me scroll for numbers but as soon as I select a number it defaults the entry to 1.

Thanks for the updates guys, I've been playing with geo disabled because it was getting quite bad, will try with the auto cloud and edge cloud ticked when I get the chance.

Oh I read it, yes the game has been out almost 6 weeks and the staff(not sure if there are paid employees or just volunteers, if it's the latter then it's understandable)haven't been able to include many of the servers resulting in people being kicked many times, and that's Bungie's fault as you say for making a game poorly, and nothing to do with the adequacy or efficiency of Netduma, correct? The configuration of my main router is fine, I just set it up to test the Netduma yet again with my Archer D7 in bridge, it's essentially doing nothing so there's no use sending screenshots. I've also previously set it up via bridge or alternatively via the dmz method outlined in your guide on the D7, on an Asus dsl-ac68u and on an old Billion 7800nxl. All of them have been set up correctly with the right configuration needed to work with the Duma, all of them have also been setup correctly when not using the Duma and have zero issues with Destiny 2. Logged in then and got kicked error code beaver by a padlock in Ireland of all places, ID: cf364712d36e4348 348

I mean I've never been kicked with any animal error when I'm not using a Netduma, I know others have but I have zero issues when not using it. With the duma it's padlocks which are NA based orginally cabbage then beaver, I got around that by having the geo off and got no errors but then what's the point? I can use QoS on any of my existing routers to get A+ buffer bloat, and they have the functionality to use 5ghz wifi for other devices in the household(console is on lan), with more detailed info, and more settings that can be tweaked. People can blame Bungie all they like though.

    Netduma Destiny 2 optimal settings

Oh I gave it a go, I generally don't spend $300 on a product to not use it, I've been giving it a go since the last month or two of D1, it just doesn't work for me as advertised in regards to D1 or D2. The only thing it worked flawlessly for was the WW2 beta. However I tried it again last night with the "new settings" and the beaver errors were back, in fact one of the padlocks was the same id I'd reported on here several weeks ago in Connecticut. I've seen some admin recommend auto cloud and bleeding edge off, others recommend it on, Chive's guide says no to upnp, other admins say yes to upnp, so it's hard to pin down what is the actual recommended settings. It would be nice to get some clarification on that. The other night I had auto cloud and bleeding edge off with upnp on and whitelist 40, gameserver 37 and map 28. I am unsure in regards to profile, are people using "Destiny" or just "General Gaming"?

    Netduma Destiny 2 optimal settings

I'm in Australia and ended up disconnecting the duma about 3 weeks ago due to constant beaver errors from various padlocked NA hosts, just wasn't worth the trouble, even in PvE with 2 local players. Dissapointing to see it's still the case, dominate lag? yeah nah.

    Destiny 2 Cloud Servers

I'm also in Australia and it's the same thing, even 3 Aussies in patrol and it will kick me as soon as we land in EDZ or whatever and say the host is in Connecticut or NY etc, my ping to any Australian based site is around 18-25ms, solid with no jitter. I've had to set the geo filter to include the entire world and even then Destiny is flashing up in game that I have a nat type 3, yet the console itself says nat type 2, it's not a fun time. I've used 3 different routers, 2 TP Link and an Asus, and run modem mode/bridge and finally DMZ, makes no difference. I've also switched between Port Forwarding and Upnp, no difference. Then seeing some bizarre PvP sessions where it will have 3 of us at around 25ms ping, then everyone else at 950ms which just can't be accurate, these people are all within Australia and they're not rubber banding or lagging as far as I can tell. I meant to add I had to stop using the Netduma completely, I was having so many blue screen crashes in game and at first I thought maybe it was a HDD issue, tried a different one, made no difference. Stopped using the Duma 3 days ago, not a single blue screen crash since on the PS4 Pro, down from 7-10 per day to 0, coincidence? unlikely...
  23. Well I'd imagine most of your customers reside in N. A, so they shouldn't have any problems. It seems like Bungie has changed somewhat how they handle the host, not that I bought this product for PvE, but in the past doing a Nightfall with 2 fellow Australians would result in one of us being host or even an Australian server. However in D2 the same situation results in us getting a N.A server, so a 250-275ms or so ping to host. I did try it in PvP tonight with a 2000km filter but got kicked by an ID already listed, despite the entire lobby being in Australia the host was in the States. I can live with it for now, and I did expect some issues with a new game, it's not easy for you guys to stay on top of. Bungie certainly isn't making it easier insisting on using servers in a different hemisphere, I really don't understand the logic in that.
  24. So just got done with playing a few hours of Destiny 2, just story missions and patrol. I had the Destiny profile enabled, but just couldn't play the opening mission from the beta, I thought it was unusual that almost no enemies were appearing, then I got booted out with "cabbage error"(can't find any mention of this anywhere from Bungie) this happened 4 more times in 10 minutes. I tried using the general gaming profile, it kept happening so I ended up completely disconnecting the Duma and just using the ISP hub on its own, no issues for 3 hours. Obviously a new game brings new issues, just thought I'd share my experience, hopefully you guys can get to the bottom of what is causing this.
  25. Tried using the geo filter for the first time in a few days, got kicked with cabbage three times in 5 minutes, by two different U.S hosts in PvE. ID: b50d1be6aa54363b ID: df23ffcac07ea0a5
